Ringo Studio completed Modern Age Clinic’s Upper East Side location in New York City, New York.

Modern Age is New York’s first aging wellness studio, offering personalized, holistic care for skin, hair, bone, and hormone health. They provide expert guidance, evidence-based products, and in-studio treatments to help people feel their best, at every age.

The design of the Modern Age’s studio transcends traditional health care experiences, blending joyful colors, sophisticated technology and a sensorial atmosphere. Through complex material selection, sculptural forms, and playful color combinations, the interior evokes an emotional reaction, giving customers the permission to enjoy and celebrate their aging journey.

Sculptural forms inspired by the Brand’s monogram define the shape of each treatment suite. Blue lime-washed walls, playful chartreuse accents and special lighting features form a unique brand identity that transcends traditional healthcare experiences. During treatments, customers participate in a breathing meditation and are offered warm blankets and refreshments.

After completing their treatment, customers are guided to the refresh room. Warm terracotta tiles line the walls and floor create a glowing and immersive space where customers can test curated products and freshen up after their appointment. The marbled clay contributes to the material narrative celebrating the imperfections that make us unique.
