Gresham Smith completed the Urgent Care Center for Jackson Health System (JHS) in Coral Gables, Florida.

The project consisted of a 10,000-square-foot, single-story building equipped with eight treatment rooms, two resuscitation rooms, as well as diagnostics consisting of a CT Scanner and an X-Ray room.

The main lobby and patient entrance are located on the western side of the building, adjacent to the vehicular entry along Galiano Street. The ambulatory drive will also be located on the western façade of the building and will share the patient vehicle entry and exit. The facility will provide a hospital-based medical practice program and an overflow fast-track treatment area. Additionally, the newly constructed building is pursuing the LEED Silver Certification, as required by Miami Dade County Ordinance.
