WIT Design & Research created a Cardiac Telemedicine Hospital in Sanya, with a “deinstitutionalized” spatial design featuring heart-shaped ceiling and vibrant colors to create a comforting atmosphere for patients.

    • Cardiac Telemedicine Hospital, invested by CSPC Pharma, is located in Haitang Bay, Sanya, with an area of about 1000 square meters in CSPC Medical Park. Led by Professor Ma Changsheng, a top domestic expert in cardiology, it has achieved high-quality remote diagnosis and treatment for the first time, allowing patients long away to receive the best medical services promptly.

    The hospital is equipped with various-sized examination rooms, expert telemedicine-conference rooms, patient waiting areas, and popular science lecture halls. The spatial design aims to “deinstitutionalize” as much as possible, with a “heart” shaped ceiling using lively techniques to lighten the serious atmosphere of the hospital, along with vibrant colors, to alleviate patient anxiety.
