The Cedars-Sinai Marina Towers Breast Imaging Center is a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide advanced imaging services within a serene, spa-like environment. Situated on the ground floor of Marina Towers, the center prioritizes accessibility, privacy, and patient comfort while upholding Cedars-Sinai’s rigorous technical standards.

The design integrates modern healthcare technology with sophisticated interiors, creating a welcoming experience for patients and staff. Key features include a prominent lobby with custom finishes, dual-provider layouts to streamline patient flow, and optimized staff workspaces. This project also ties into the existing MINK Imaging suite located across the hall, creating a cohesive environment that complements the functionality and aesthetic of the adjacent space. The design ensures seamless integration between the two suites, both in form and utility, reinforcing a unified patient experience.

Beyond its functional and aesthetic contributions, the Breast Imaging Center plays a key role in Cedars-Sinai’s broader vision for expanding community-based care in Marina del Rey. By offering advanced diagnostic services in an off-campus setting, the center increases access for local residents while reducing reliance on hospital infrastructure. Its location across from the future Cedars-Sinai hospital campus strategically positions it to complement upcoming operations, helping to “right-size” the new facility by shifting routine services into more efficient, purpose-built environments. In doing so, the project supports long-term goals for regional healthcare delivery while strengthening Cedars-Sinai’s presence and trust within the community.

The project was completed one month ahead of schedule, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and problem-solving in overcoming complex construction challenges.
