Baylor Scott & White Health – Heart Hospital Baylor Plano
E4H Environments for Health Architecture completed the design for the Baylor Scott & White Health’s Heart Hospital Baylor Plano located in Plano, Texas.
This project added 164,765 SF of space to the hospital, improving operational efficiency and increasing patient load. The new six floor expansion supports a renovated and expanded atrium lobby with a fireplace and café, a chapel, an education suite with 200-seat auditorium and a state-of-the-art bio-skills classroom, a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation unit and gym, four new operating rooms and a PACU, a day surgery unit with 28 private beds, a physicians’ lounge and residents’ suite, and space dedicated to the Baylor Research Institute. One floor will be fitted with shell space for a future outpatient bed expansion.
