Gresham Smith was tasked with creating a patient-centric space for the multi-functional demands at St. Joseph’s/Candler Ambulatory Services Hub in Pooler, Georgia.

The 83,000-square-foot, three-story St. Joseph’s/Candler ambulatory services hub in Pooler, Ga aims to attract the region’s younger residents by creating a convenient, welcoming and patient-centric environment and ultimately expand St. Joseph’s/Candler’s market share. The facility houses ambulatory surgery, including a da Vinci Surgical System powered by robotic technology to support minimally invasive surgery, pre-admission testing, imaging, urgent care, primary care, an OBGYN clinic, shell space and tenant space. The new 18.3-acre campus is located near two interstates for easy access. The ambulatory services hub is part of a 10-year multi-phased project.
