CARMIN used hospitality design when creating a sense of place for Belem Dental Clinic in Bordeaux, France.

The Belem’s project is a dental centre located at a district undergoing major restructuring, close to Bordeaux train station. Our client wanted a new centre with a design marked by hotel codes and wellness centers. We have designed a project bathed in light, enveloping, and inviting to take care of oneself.

In order to respond to social changes and the development of new centres, bringing together several practitioners within a single structure, the Carmin agency was asked to design a quality place in terms of the treatments offered and the atmosphere it represents.

The spaces had to be welcoming and comfortable for the public while offering a particularly pleasant and functional working environment.

The different spaces were organised by integrating all the technical constraints necessary for the operation of a dental centre, surgery and imaging facilities. The spaces are spacious, bright, graphic and served by clean and airy circulations. Particular care has been taken to ensure the duality between natural and illuminated light.
