Anderson Mikos Architects designed a peaceful and multi-functional space for Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital’s Integrative Medicine Clinic located in Barrington, Illinois.

The Integrative Medicine Clinic is an outpatient department that will help with symptom management through integrative therapies with a variety of patient populations such as: oncology, bariatric, pain etc. Integrative therapies include acupuncture, medical massage, aromatherapy, yoga and mindfulness. This 6,000+ s.f. interior renovation was completed in under five months, following the timeline goal set by the client.

In the department, there is a multi-purpose room that will be used for yoga, educational purposes and support groups. The outdoor garden was designed with rest and relaxation in mind. It will used for outdoor yoga classes, respite and mindfulness.
