  • Ringo Studio designed a unique and thoughtful space for Modern Age Clinic’s Flagship location in New York City, New York.

As the first healthcare company designed to slow down aging, Modern Age is on a mission to add millions of years of healthy life expectancy to the world. Our medical team uses the latest scientific research combined with evidence-backed treatments to proactively address the most frustrating and underdiagnosed impacts of aging. We believe everyone deserves a personalized plan to reach their physical and mental peak and live healthier longer.

The studio is a sculptural environment designed to relax your mind and delight your senses. The design transcends traditional health care experiences by infusing painterly textures, soft gradients of light and a complex material palette producing a sensorial atmosphere. With curated music, scent, and forms inspired by the human body, every detail has been carefully considered as part of a holistic customer experience.

The 4,500 sqft studio sits at the corner of 5th Avenue and West 15th streets. Large storefront windows provide an abundance of natural light in the breathtaking welcome lounge. Customers are guided through a sequence of spaces including a custom-built photo booth, a wellness reading library, a refresh room and a glowing retail display.

A dramatic hallway leads customers to a courtyard of 6 treatment suites sculpted by curved walls and historic 17’ tall corinthian columns glazed in a creamy white tile to bounce diffused light across the architectural details. Above each treatment suite, a color changing light well provides a relaxing focal point for procedures and meditations. Blue lime-washed walls and translucent orange shelving add to a material narrative that reinforces the brand’s messaging around celebrating your unique imperfections and providing transparency into the aging journey.
