AGi architects was tasked with updating the Mira+Cueto Clinic giving the space a professional and fun refresh in Madrid, Spain.

The rehabilitation project of the Aula Mira + Cueto, the educational space of this cosmetic clinic, has involved a creative approach to renovation, fitout and corporate identity.

Located in a mixed-use neighbourhood in the north of Madrid that is made up of residential and small-business developments, the intervention developed by AGi architects has sought to create a warm and contemporary environment for this new training concept promoted by Mira + Cueto.

The program revolves around four main spaces: reception hall, WOW space, training rooms and offices. Of these, the WOW space is the heart of the project. Designed as a multifunctional and welcoming corporate lounge, it is adapted to the daily activity. The training rooms are separated from it by an acoustic glass partition, which allows a visual connection. The staircase that connects to the clinic space on the ground floor opens from the WOW room.

The offices are characterized by a minimalist functional design, in which the entry of natural light is enhanced by acoustic glass partition walls. An acoustic lighting system improves user comfort and activates and unifies the offices with a note of corporate color on the ceilings.

The reception hall is the welcoming area with a prominent corporate presence of the AU+ logo. The reception desk has been designed as a composition that includes the existing column clad in oak wood, visually integrating it into the Aula Mira + Cueto entrance experience.
