Northside Snellville Medical Office Building – Women’s Imaging, and ASC
HLGstudio designed the new 35,000 square-foot Northside Snellville Medical Office Building, focusing on a hospitality-driven environment with patient-centric layouts.
The new two-story, 35,000 square foot, Northside Snellville Medical Office Building (MOB) embodies a hospitality-driven environment, featuring local artwork, a spacious lobby, live plants, and large format porcelain tiles on the two-story feature wall, complemented by a textured wood wall behind the reception desk. The architecture by Howell Rusk Dodson Architects and interior design by HLGstudio reflect the region’s landscape, incorporating natural exterior materials like clay brick and muted metal accents.
Inside Northside Medical Snellville, the patient-centric ambulatory surgery center and women’s imaging suites feature comforting hues of soft blues, warm neutral tones, and woodgrain accents, creating a calming atmosphere. Thoughtful layouts enhance the experience for both patients and staff, offering efficient circulation for staff and a private, convenient exit path for patients after procedures.
Both the ambulatory surgery center and the women’s imaging area are designed to seamlessly blend with the hospital building’s public space, ensuring a cohesive Northside experience and a unified patient journey. Additionally, branding elements are incorporated to cater specifically to these patient populations. For instance, the waiting room of the ambulatory surgery center features dark wood and bold blues, creating a cozy and calming atmosphere. The women’s imaging department showcases organic floor patterns and residential-style furniture, enhancing the inviting and comfortable environment.
