Located in the heat of Canberra, Clarity Eye Surgeons is a state-of-the-art commercial eye surgery clinic that redefines the traditional clinical environment. Completed in 2024, the finished design for Clarity Eye Surgeons showcases a sophisticated and inviting space, carefully crafted to create calmness and warmth rather than a clinical atmosphere. The goal was to invite patients in and make them feel at ease within the space. A patient should be able to comfortable sit in the waiting room as well as manoeuvre around the clinic with ease. The design strived to leave behind preconceived ideas of what constitutes a standard health clinic. Studio P also worked closely with the client to ensure the clinic included the most up to date technology and allow for flexible spaces where he can hold educational events for his peers.

The color palette combines warm beige tones with calming blues, creating a harmonious and elegant backdrop throughout the clinic. The textured materiality of the cork floors, wood wool fibre ceiling panels & timber lining add both aesthetic & acoustic qualities beneficial to the environment of the ophthalmology clinic & those who enter the space. In essence, the design of Clarity Eye Surgeons not only reflects the name but also embodies its core values of simplicity, coherence, and precision throughout.
