The Well & You Surgery Center, designed by Hardaway|Sziabowski Architects, exemplifies a seamless integration of advanced medical functionality with an inviting, patient-centered environment. Strategically located adjacent to the surgeons’ practice offices, the center maintains Medicare-compliant facility separation while offering a cohesive and convenient experience for both patients and providers.

This compact yet highly specialized ambulatory surgery center (ASC) is tailored for advanced cardiovascular procedures. It includes two state-of-the-art operating rooms: a 400-square-foot OR dedicated to vascular surgeries, and a larger hybrid operating room equipped with a ceiling-mounted fluoroscopy system to support minimally invasive interventional procedures as well as open surgery.

Situated within a repurposed retail complex, the ASC is a thoughtful architectural intervention that transforms commercial space into a high-performance medical facility. A light canopy visually and functionally links the surgery center to the physician offices, offering covered access while preserving the required operational separation.

The design prioritizes patient comfort without compromising clinical performance. The Pre-op and PACU areas are designed for maximum flexibility and staff efficiency, with clear sightlines from a centrally positioned nurse station to enhance patient monitoring and care. Semi-private recovery bays are enhanced with client-selected murals and curated artwork by Well & You, fostering a healing environment that feels personalized and inviting.

Interior finishes reflect a muted, contemporary palette that creates a calm and cohesive atmosphere. Every design element—from spatial planning to artistic integration—embodies Well & You’s mission to humanize the surgical experience.
