The renovated Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital Herrera Llerandi, one of the most prestigious hospitals located in the heart of Guatemala City offers 11 individualized care units, designed specifically for neonatal, pediatric, adult and cardiovascular patients. Each space has been carefully designed to provide safety, comfort and a high degree of personalization in treatment, ensuring first-class medical care.

In the interior design of this unit, modern, timeless materials adaptable to strict medical needs were incorporated. Among them are the high-traffic vinyl floor, tempered glass, hospital epoxy paint and German tapestries with antibacterial properties, selected not only for their functionality, but also for their durability and easy maintenance in a clinical environment. The remodeling sought to emphasize characteristics of circular design, avant-garde in its time and that meant a milestone and evolution in the design of spaces dedicated to medical services in Guatemala.

Advanced Antibacterial Technology: Walls and floors are coated with state-of-the-art antibacterial materials, significantly reducing the risk of infections.

Upgraded Medical Gas System: A completely new and optimized system ensures the safe and efficient supply of oxygen, compressed air, and other essential gases.

Climate Control with HEPA Filters: Our air conditioning systems feature HEPA filters that eliminate microscopic particles and allergens, ensuring a sterile environment for patient recovery.

Smart Isolation System: We have implemented an advanced isolation system to prevent the spread of infections, protecting both patients and medical staff.

Specialized Respiratory Therapy Area: A dedicated space equipped with cutting-edge technology for the treatment of patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
