Legacy Dental’s design was based off of wanting to improve the patient experience and break conventional clinical design norms. To break this conventional design typology, FRANK focused on creating a crafted boutique approach, and an environment that makes patients feel comfortable and at peace.

The central reception desk has been positioned and designed to welcome patients upon arrival and cleverly separated by wood louvre detail to provide privacy for patient transactions and consultation upon departure.

Moving away from the typical sterile design of clinics, the design is focused on having a blended balance of operational efficiency, emotional wellbeing, and pleasant patient experience. This is displayed through the layout, materials used, lighting, and other functional spaces within the clinic. The waiting room has been configured to comfortable lounge groupings, with a breakout area for children to wait restfully before appointments.

The material palette is calming and sophisticated with soft textiles, warm tones, and natural materials throughout. Designing with natural, light, warm, tactile materials, and intuitive circulation encourages calm in the body and mind during the patient experience, allowing those who visit the clinic to feel at ease.

The attention to detail for each project FRANK completes is essential, no matter the space or goal. Through imagining the guest experience, FRANK works to create transformations that are thought and feeling provoking.
