Welcome to The Cheerful Pelvis, a pelvic health and physiotherapy clinic located in Vancouver, BC. The design brief for this space was simple: make the uncomfortable more comfortable.

Meg and Neena from Articulate Design + Consulting, a boutique studio specializing in clinic and wellness-space design, were perfectly aligned with this vision.

Soft lighting, plush textures, buttery yellows, and joyful pops of colour wrap patients and practitioners in a warm embrace. The design goes beyond aesthetics – it’s about how the space feels.

The colour palette is intentionally gender-neutral, steering away from the traditional pinks and purples often associated with women’s health. The result is a space that feels inclusive, nurturing, and deeply human.

At The Cheerful Pelvis, design itself is part of the therapy. Every material, tone, and texture is chosen to support calm, connection, and trust – creating an environment where healing begins the moment you walk through the door
