We are an architecture firm specializing in hospital architecture, and our goal is to make the patient experience unique, highlighting the positive visual, tactile, and sensory aspects for the user. Our team is always looking for new concepts and ideas to delight patients, providing a more pleasant stay.

The São Pedro Beneficent Hospital is a philanthropic entity. It was founded on February 16, 1933, and its inauguration took place on April 13, 1933. Located at Travessa 31 de Outubro, No. 7, Centro neighborhood in the city of Garibaldi – RS.

Today, the Hospital serves approximately 60,000 inhabitants, who are distributed among the cities of: Garibaldi, Carlos Barbosa, Boa Vista do Sul, Coronel Pilar, Monte Belo do Sul, and Santa Tereza.

In 2019, an architectural renovation took place at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Center, which, due to COVID-19 in 2020, was used as an ICU to meet the bed needs resulting from the pandemic.

After the Obstetrics Center was used as an ICU, a revitalization and requalification of the space was requested so that it could be used as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Center.

The project encompassed different strategies for a better experience and comfort for patients and staff. Among them was the use of colors, such as green, pink, and wood paneling. The goal was to create environments that provide more comfort, well-being, welcoming, sophistication, and coziness. The modernization of furniture, aiming at ergonomics, and the use of equipment to improve the stay of users, such as television, mini-fridge, countertop with sink, storage space for belongings, among others. Through curved elements, phrases, and stickers, the aim was to create a more humanized, personalized, and playful environment. An Instagrammable space was added to the project, which pregnant women can use to record their pregnancy or after the birth of their child.

All strategies are based on the premise of the patient’s well-being and comfort, providing a welcoming environment for one of the most special moments, the arrival of their baby.

The team involved in the conception and execution of the interior design project for the Dr. Cláudio Dalmaz Maternity Ward, Normal Delivery Center – São Pedro Hospital, includes hospital architect and office owner Adriana Peccin e equipe.
