  • EN Design Studio completed this intentional space for a Private Medical Clinic in Rosh Haayin, Israel.

The work process began with the customer’s desire to create a clinic that conveys professionalism and formality while also giving the space a sense of warmth and relaxation. It was important for the client to provide a comfortable and pleasant space for patients while waiting or receiving treatment.

One of the most prominent features of the design concept is the unique color that illuminates the clinic in a very gentle way. The color divisions are geometrically related to the functional elements in the space to emphasize specific areas, such as storage.

Because the clinic is located on a main street, it was necessary to create a screen between the window and the waiting area. The partition is made of natural wood frames, some of which are open while others are filled with wooden slats. The asymmetrical construction allows glimpses into the street and vice versa, which creates a personal and intimate space, but gives a sense of openness and light.

Another important design element is the lighting in the ceiling. Lighting strips combined with spotlights are embedded in a plaster ceiling. The strips are painted black to contrast the bright colors in the walls and ceiling, and to distinguish between the various functions within the space.

The clinic project presents a minimalist and meticulous design, yet colorful and bright. The space is inviting and pleasant and at the same time gives a professional and serious feel.
