  • HGA brought efficiency and collaborative care to Aurora Health Center 84South catered to the suburbs of a big city in Greenfield, Wisconsin.

Aurora Health continues their mission of delivering high quality, cost effective care with a new 150,000 square foot flagship ambulatory surgery and Health Center branded around orthopedics. The center is part of the prominent 84South mixed-use development located in the center of the southwest Milwaukee metro area. Designed by HGA, the project creates a multidisciplinary specialty hub, consolidates outpatient facilities, and offers improved access and convenience for patients in the region.

By locating in the southwest suburbs of Milwaukee, Advocate Aurora Health (AAH) improved access to surgical, imaging, pain management, gastrointestinal, sports medicine, and pediatric services while creating more space for inpatient growth at St. Luke’s Medical Center, their Cardiac/Neuro/Oncology flagship, and at West Allis Medical Center, their primary Women’s and Family hospital.

The site required an urban, multistory solution with a 409-stall connected parking facility. Circulation through the site focuses on access and convenience, with intuitive navigation.

Based on a patient-centered, collaborative care model, the new outpatient center co-locates orthopedic exam, office, and imaging conveniently at the retail-inspired main entry with surgical, recovery, and pain management services on the floors above.
